We gather at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings at The Commons for a shared meal, reading Scripture, teaching, prayer, Eucharist, and small groups.
The Jubilee was a gift from God to his people—a time to release, to be freed, and to restart. This year, we are adapting the Jubilee pattern. We’ll be set free—from sin; from the way we have always done things; from lies. We’ll go back to our Christian faith roots. We won’t work to grow anything new. We won’t rush to harvest whatever might grow naturally. We’ll remember that the church is Christ’s and that we have been granted stewardship of it. We’ll return to our neighborhoods. We’ll be faithful to God. We will live off the gifts and learnings that God has already provided His church. We’ll seek to be compassionately among the least and the lost and among fellow Christians.
