Peace of Christ is a group of people living a way of life together centered on the presence of Jesus at these three tables. You’re invited to join us.
The Lord’s Table
Followers of Jesus gather around His table. We worship and receive from Jesus.
Our Sunday worship gathering has “gone small,” as we adapt to the pandemic and quarantine. We now organize many simple, small group backyard gatherings. These gatherings are informal and include reading Scripture, prayer, Eucharist, and singing together.
Even scattered in small gatherings, each week we are called out of the world, as one people, to hear God speak; after responding in praise and obedience, we are sent back into the world for his mission. As we participate rather than spectate, our lives are transformed into the likeness of Christ. Our “worship style” attempts to blend ancient with contemporary.
The Home Table
A few followers of Jesus share a meal and work out their everyday lives under the Lordship of Jesus. Sometimes friends and neighbors join.
House Groups (various times)
Small groups share a meal and tend to Christ’s presence among us. We talk about things that matter, actively listen, and prayerfully wonder how God might be at work in our lives.
Triads (various times)
These are intimate groups of at least three men or three women. With increasing vulnerability, participants reflect on their recent circumstances in order to see how God is drawing them away from sinful patterns toward the good news of Jesus. Members seek to discern God’s will together and speak his truth in love.
The Guest Table
Followers of Jesus are sent into places as guests: not seeking to control but to discern what Jesus is already doing there, to join in, and to invite others to see it too.
